Things with running code

Aurum

Private repository

Investment research for Brazilian equities. Live quotes and charts for every B3 ticker, Graham analysis, portfolio import from broker statements, and a layered cache with a circuit breaker that keeps the app fast when the shared cache is unreachable.

The design system this page is built from. Three-tier tokens, five palettes, an unbundled RSC-safe build, stories that run as tests in a real browser with axe at error level, and gates for chart isolation and bundle budgets.

Authored the North Star frontend architecture blueprint adopted by the engineering team. Led a Gulp to Webpack migration that cut build times for every frontend engineer. Main point of contact for frontend code standards.

React · Next.js · TypeScript · GraphQL

Senior AI Engineer · Microapp

Architected an Nx monorepo from the first commit: Next.js webapp, backoffice and NestJS API alongside shared UI, types and config libraries. Multi-agent workflows, and vector search backing RAG pipelines.

Design system

You have been using it this whole time

Every surface, control and token on this page comes from @lfrprazeres/ui. The palette control in the corner is not a mock-up of theming, it is the theming. What is harder to see from the outside is how it is held together.

Stories run as tests76 stories exercised in a real browser, with axe failing the build on any violation
RSC-safe by constructionAn unbundled build, and a gate that checks all 24 client directives survived it
Charts stay optionalrecharts is a peer dependency and is verified unreachable from every other entry point
Budgets, not guessesThe whole surface is 99.7 kB brotlied against a 110 kB ceiling the CI enforces
Five palettes, one contractColour, radius, spacing and font stacks are all swappable without touching a component
